Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Gui is a budding ceramicist delving into the ancient Japanese art of Nerikomi to craft functional tabletop objects. Gui’s first interaction with ceramics began at the age of 12 but was abruptly interrupted. He recently picked up pottery while seeking an artistic outlet and continued from where he left off.

Each piece is born through a contemplative journey which forms a marble block of clay. From selecting the natural clays and mason stains' color palette to the intricate design and molding processes, Gui infuses each creation with an authentic character.

Currently specializing in dinnerware and functional objects, Gui aspires to evoke spontaneous joy through his work.
